Gloria and her friends Fed The Homeless!/BLOG

Yesterday April 30, 2016 my friend Gloria and her friends went out to the streets of Downtown Detroit to pass out sandwiches, fruits, snacks and toiletries. They made over 500 sandwiches! In 2008, I had a vision to Feed The Homeless for Thanksgiving, which extended to Valentines Day and Summer. This time Gloria branched out and did all the foot work, and also bought in some new people to help her out and also who LOVE doing it. My vision has ALWAYS been for others to “get it”. I wanted people to catch “the fever” of what we were doing … Continue reading Gloria and her friends Fed The Homeless!/BLOG

Thank you’s for the Feeding the Homeless for Thanksgiving in Detroit 2013

First before I can even begin… I have to Thank God for giving me the gift of planning and the endurance to complete this task with my family and friends. I love you  As you all know I can write. I’m hoping to make this short and to the point….. but I don’t know. LOL Whenever we go out to pass out dinners, there are so many men and women who are so THANKFUL. I met this lady last night, who walked up to the van to get a dinner and I could feel that her heart was so heavy … Continue reading Thank you’s for the Feeding the Homeless for Thanksgiving in Detroit 2013

Feeding the Homeless for Thanksgiving…2013

I realized that God equipped me with Being a Visionary I have insight on things that others just don’t see, or understand…. and ITS OKAY. As a visionary you have to be able to think quickly and able to come up with solutions. You have to always have a plan B. I have a gift to vision the whole thing in progress before it even happens while sitting in my living room months before time. In doing this, I can see all the issues that may come up, and that is how this is able to go smoothly EVERY YEAR. THANK YOU … Continue reading Feeding the Homeless for Thanksgiving…2013

The Plan and Vision behind Cree’s Feeding the Homeless

So many family and friends have asked  “How do you plan to feed 90 people?” To me its so simple, its only because I have had this vision to Feed the Homeless for years. What I do is, come up with a menu. Last year my menu was Chicken and Dressing with cranberry sauce, String Beans with white potatoes, macaroni and cheese, potatoe salad, dinner rolls. For desert, we had home made brownies, donuts, and cookies, each have water, pop and juice. Sectional Plates (90) Spoons/Forks (90) Napkins (3) Aluminum Foil (3) Walmart .50- Blue Bags (90) Cookies~ 20.…… $1.00 … Continue reading The Plan and Vision behind Cree’s Feeding the Homeless

Nov 23, 2011 Feeding the Homeless Photos :)

This year was one of the best years as far as planning the trip downtown to Feed the Homeless. We put together the forks and napkins, donuts, brownies, dinner rolls and cookies the day before so that we could focus mostly on the packing the day of. We also counted out 90 pieces of aluminum foil so that when we put the food on the plates it could be separated from the food and the snacks. We counted out (3 total for each bag) juice, pop, water and place them in 90 bags. The day of the event, all we had to do was make the … Continue reading Nov 23, 2011 Feeding the Homeless Photos 🙂
