This year was one of the best years as far as planning the trip downtown to Feed the Homeless. We put together the forks and napkins, donuts, brownies, dinner rolls and cookies the day before so that we could focus mostly on the packing the day of. We also counted out 90 pieces of aluminum foil so that when we put the food on the plates it could be separated from the food and the snacks. We counted out (3 total for each bag) juice, pop, water and place them in 90 bags. The day of the event, all we had to do was make the plates. I found out by doing everything the day before that it saves time, and takes a load of stress OFF!!
